This is a 1964 Corvair 500 Coupe for the bidding. She has an 110HP engine with Power Glide and a 327 differential.
Exterior is blue with the basic blue interior. The car was repainted a year and a half ago but is starting to (unfortunately) show small bubbles under the paint. The car is very presentable as a daily driver.
The interior is original (door panels, headliner, dash) but the seats are from a 61, 500 and have been reupholstered. The rear seat folds down. The dash is padded but would need replacing due to cracks from age and sun.
All instruments (gas gauge, speedometer, warning lights) work properly as do the light switch (high beams) directionals, heat controls and fan.
The rear axle bearings and differential seals have been replaced as well as the “O” rings, rear seal and torque converter seal. The generator has been replaced with an alternator with the correct regulator.
The carburetors have been rebuilt and an electronic ignition has been. Also dual exhaust was installed for better breathing.
The front end is tight with no rattles. The stabilizer bushings have all been replaced as well as shocks all around. New front wheel bearing have also been installed. She rides on fairly new Michelin radials. (Less than a year old.)
All in all she is a very good running, dependable little car that would make an excellent daily driver or the beginning of an easy restoration.
Please feel free to ask any questions, I am sure the winning bidder will be very happy with this little gem.
